Earn while you learn with an apprenticeship
Discover the newest route into teacher training and learn about teacher degree apprenticeships on Thursday 16 October from 5pm - 6pm.
The teaching apprenticeship is a 4-year, full-time course that lets you train as a teacher with an accredited teacher training provider.
Trainee teachers will spend an average of 40% of their time (2 days a week) studying for their degree with a university. When they begin working, they will start on an unqualified teacher salary.
The webinar brings together apprenticeship providers who will give information on their offer with the opportunity for attendees to answer questions through live chat.
The webinar shines a light on this new route and the opportunities available in Portsmouth.

Non-maintained schools (for example, academies, independent schools and private schools) can set their own pay, but often follow the same pay ranges.
You do not have to pay tuition fees, but you will not be eligible for student finance.
