Become a sponsor and help us celebrate education in Portsmouth
The Teach Portsmouth Awards is a not-for-profit event, helped by organisations in the city who sponsor an award category. In return for sponsoring, organisations receive a series of rewards to promote their products and services.
Portsmouth's school superheroes thanked
This year, we asked Portsmouth to thank their school superheroes by sharing a special message with us.
We received over 700 thank you messages from across the city thanking staff in early years, primary, secondary and specialist schools.
Each school received a hamper full of goodies. Inside each hamper was a printed poster with thank you messages on. Look back at the initiative and how we thanked Portsmouth's school superheroes.
Top questions
The general public are able to nominate school and college staff in the people's choice award category. The other 11 award categories are reserved for senior staff in each school/college only. Nominations for the people's choice award will open on Monday 25 November.
The event has a limited capacity of 300 people. Because of this, we reserve seating for school and college staff including those who have been shortlisted.
Each school/college receives two tickets (automatically) with further tickets given if a member of staff is shortlisted. If schools/colleges want additional tickets, we do have a waiting list, which is allocated on a first come, first served basis.
The Teach Portsmouth Awards will be livestreamed on the night. Details on how to watch the live stream will be shared in a future edition of the Teach Portsmouth newsletter. You can subscribe to the newsletter here.
